Edinburgh Urban Dog Walker

Services

My services include:

Group walks

£15 per hour (£28 for two) - I walk social and friendly groups providing a high quality caring dog walking service. I will collect your dog and they will receive a full, fun 1 hour walk in a small group. I have 2 walks per day, 1 in the morning and 1 around lunch time.

Solo Walks

£25 per hour - I offer a one hour solo walk for your dog. This can build up your dogs confidence or maybe they prefer to be walked alone. I also offer a half hour solo walk for the senior dog. AM & PM.

Full day care

£35 per day - I will pick up your dog and they will spend the day with me and my dogs. This includes 2 walks, then dropped home to you.

Puppy care

£15 for 30 minutes. Puppy visits for pups going through their inoculation period and when you cant be there. I will play with your pup, clean up any mess and give lots of cuddles! A visit lasts 30 minutes.

Cat care

£15 for 30 minutes. I will visit your cat in the morning, afternoon or evening; whichever you prefer or all 3! each visit includes feeding, water and litter tray cleaning. A good service for when you cant be home.

Pet taxi

From £15 - A taxi service for your pet. Off to the groomers or a vet appointment.

About me

My name is Zoë Gibson and I'm a professional dog walker. I have 3 dogs and it's because of them that I started Edinburgh Urban Dog Walker. I wanted to have a career where I could spend more time with them and combine my love of animals.
Why walk with me

It is really important to me as a dog owner to know that any person looking after my dogs are caring and trustworthy so this is what I strive to provide for you and your pet. I have grown up with animals around me and have had many years of experience with them. I am First Aid trained, police checked, fully insured and registered with Edinburgh Council.

Rusky the Retriever

Zoe (urban dog walker) has walked our golden retriever Rusky twice a week since we moved to Edinburgh in summer 2021. I can highly recommend her as she cares for Rusky as if he is her own dog. He absolutely loves Zoe and bounds down the stairs to greet her when she comes to collect him. She takes him on a variety of walks and sends us photos of his adventures with his dog mates. Having used other dog walkers in the past, Zoe is really good value for the personalised service she provides.

Soli the Pug

Zoe has been walking Soli for over 3 years. He absolutely loves his walks with her and she is so kind and patient with him whilst still ensuring boundaries and high expectations. Being a pug he has his quirks and she understands him so well. Group walks are great for his socialisation. He gets lots of variety and freedom from the different places they go. Zoe has been walking my miniature dachshund Thor for over four years now, we absolutely could not be without her! Zoe is one of the very few people that I completely trust with him and he absolutely adores her. She is incredibly reliable and always keeps the walks so varied and exciting for them- and as an even bigger bonus shares lots of pictures on Facebook and Instagram, so even when you can’t be there on walks with them, you can still see their happy faces running about having the best time!

Izzy the Spaniel

Izzy has been walking with Zoë since she was six months old and she absolutely loves it. We hadn't planned on needing a dog walker, but a change of job meant lunchtime walks were out of the question. Buddy the Spaniel

Zoe has been walking my dog for the last 2 years and I don’t think there is anyone else I would trust to look after her. Buddy sits at the window waiting to get picked up and then rushes to the front door when she sees Zoe arrive, so it’s safe to say she enjoys going out her walks with Zoe. I get sent some photos while she is out enjoying herself with her friends which is always lovely to see, and she always comes back tired and ready for a snooze. I can’t recommend Zoe and her services enough!
